Fishing & Conservation Club
The Pines Lake Fishing and Conservation Club (PLFCC) is a group of individuals passionate about the sport of fishing and its power to bring friends, neighbors and family closer together. We encourage anyone in the Pines Lake Community who wants to have a great time and help promote the values outlined
in our mission statement to check us out. Come to a tournament, a PLFCC event,
or a member meeting and see if you would like to join our merry band of fishermen.
The club meets the last Wednesday of every month at 7:30pm from February to October.
For more information, please contact JD Gill.
Garden Club
Even if your thumbs are not quite green, new members are always welcome at the Pines Lake Garden Club.
It is the camaraderie of a group of people with similar interests that makes our club so special. The meeting of like-minded people often leads to lasting friendships and discoveries that may have never occurred. What a nice addition to our personal garden life!
For more information, please contact Hope Weston.
Sailing Club
The Sailing Club has been an organized club since 1953! The first commodore was Herb Califano back in the days when we would have 70 boats in 5 classes for both the Jr. and Senior races every Sunday!
A note from Commodore Kevin Mooney:
“I would like to take this opportunity to invite anyone with some sailing experience to come join us, and should you need help getting a boat, let us know, I am sure we can help you! Racing experience is not required, come out and have some fun!”
For more information, please contact Kevin Mooney at 973-220-1996.
Women’s Club
The Pines Lake Woman’s Club is part of the New Jersey State Federation of Woman’s Clubs and a true community service organization. We work together to help make a difference in the lives of others, especially for woman & children.
We welcome new members from Wayne and the surrounding area. Our meetings are held conveniently at the Pines Lake Elementary School Cafeteria on the 2nd Wednesday of the month from 7pm to 9pm (September to May). If you are a young mother, newly retired or a new resident, it is a great chance to get out for an evening of “Fun, Friendship, and Service.”
The Pines Lake Directory is a list all the residents in our community and businesses owned by residents of Pines Lake. It includes Names, phone numbers and addresses. If you would like to be included, we ask that you contact us with your information (Name, address, Phone number).
We also provide advertising opportunities.
For more information, please contact Janice Gardner.
Pines Lake Seniors
Remember when we used (gulp) pencil? Well, our Pines Lake Seniors have come a long way. This note is written on an obsolete computer – six months old.
But we are not obsolete – our Seniors are hustling and we welcome any Pines Lake member over 55 to join us on the journey. You’ll find good company, benefit from others’ experiences (Want to know a good handy man? – Good trip? Most of us have “been there, done that” and are happy to pass on our knowledge.)
Some of us are busier than when we worked! The Pines Lake Seniors gives us chances to participate, contribute – or just socialize. For the socializers, we have good presentations at our monthly meetings, some enjoyable day trips, restaurant stops, a picnic and a party to celebrate the holidays.
We meet on most 3rd Thursday’s of the month. Join us!
For more information, please contact Ann Marie Budich.
